Day by Day

The Route, Unhurried

1. Day 01

   The Alpine Gateway

   Gothenburg to Geilo. Clear the initial transit miles comfortably and camp in a premier mountain village nestled between national parks.

2. Day 02

   The Aurland River Valley

   Geilo via the Hardanger Bridge to Aurland. Set up our base camp right on the shoreline of a rushing glacial river. Spend the afternoon taking a silent electric passenger boat cruise through the narrow, majestic walls of the UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord.

3. Day 03

   The Scenic Pass & Overlooks

   No base camp relocation today. Wake up at the base of the mountains and climb the wild arctic crags of the Aurlandsfjellet Scenic Route (The Snow Road). On the descent, stand 650 meters above the water on the glass Stegastein platform before returning to our peaceful riverside camp.

4. Day 04

   Tunnels, Heritage & The Horizon Return

   Pass through the world's longest road tunnel (Lærdal, 24.5 km) and admire the ancient 12th-century Borgund Stave Church before a smooth drive back down to Gothenburg.
